The PTSO funds various school and student related projects/events, and coordinates and funds teacher appreciation events throughout the year.
Highlights from the 2018-2019 school year
Students in AP Biology using the gel electrophoresis system to learn about DNA testing. PTSO purchased the DNA equipment in conjunction with IB Boosters.
Underserved Community Support:

PTSO provided financial support for Nease’s “in-transition students” (we have 40+ students who are homeless or have unstable home situations).
Engineering students created a nose cone attachment for a rocket and Braille cubes, two of many projects enabled by the 10 3D printers PTSO purchased for the Engineering department (and 1 for the Math department). The 3D printers enhance students' real-life application of STEM.

Teacher Appreciation! PTSO makes sure our teachers and staff feel appreciated! We coordinated and paid for four Teacher Appreciation events including a catered Christmas luncheon, two events during teacher appreciation week and a boxed lunch on the evening of parent-teacher night!
